Neighbourhood Management has arrived in Halton! A newly formed team of five has recently begun to develop Neighbourhood Management in the three pilot areas of:
Central Widnes
Hallwood Park & Palace Fields
Castlefields & Windmill Hill
Funded by the Safer Stronger Communities Fund, Neighbourhood Management is designed to help close the gap between the most deprived parts of the Borough and the rest.
It involves residents working in partnership with mainstream service providers, the local authority, businesses and the voluntary and community sectors, to make local services more responsive to the needs of their area.It doesn’t involve large amounts of money – instead, it is about making existing budgets work smarter.
