Hate Crime Community Reporting Centres |
|
Cheshire Police, Halton Borough Council and its partner agencies recognises that sometimes the public may feel mistrustful or too intimidated to contact the Police directly about hate crimes so have set up a number of Community Reporting Centres.
A hate crime is when someone or groups of people verbally abuse, intimidate, threaten or physically abuse someone because of their faith, disability, sexual orientation, gender or race. For this reason we commenced a collaborative project with partner agencies, to offer a safe, comfortable environment for people to report hate crimes and Incidents.
