WELCOME to
Halton Children’s Trust![]()
Halton Children’s Trust is a partnership of public and voluntary sector organisations working together to meet the needs of children and families. The Children’s Trust exists to improve outcomes for all children and young people in Halton because we believe that this can be done more effectively by all agencies and organisations working together.
To achieve our aims, the Children’s Trust partners need to be able to work in a co-ordinated way. Our Children & Young People’s Plan makes this co-ordination possible. We have identified 3 priority outcomes which we aim to achieve through joint planning and working together. These priorities are:
- Improve outcomes for children and young people through embedding integrated processes to deliver early intervention
- Improve outcomes for children and young people through effective joint commissioning
- Improve outcomes for our most vulnerable children and young people by targeting services effectively

We hope you find this website a useful information resource. As well as providing the latest news and updates, there are useful documents, training information and a directory of resources to assist professionals working with children and young people. There are also dedicated pages for the Children & Young People’s Voluntary Sector Forum, and Halton Family Voice, representing parents and carers in Halton.
We welcome any suggestions about what we can include on the website in future
